As we move into phase 3 of lock-down, in conjunction with STA’s guidance, clubs are starting to train again, with appropriate social distancing in place, and the GTA are looking at the guidance in relation to when wider Glasgow league/friendlies could take place. Whilst this will not be before the end of July, depending on the guidance of the next phase there could be some options for the second half of 2020.
President Jen and Youth Development sub-committee member and Cartha Lightning Coach Alan have had meetings with Glasgow Life’s Rugby Development Officer and have exciting plans in the pipeline for partnership to target/develop youth touch within Glasgow and the West, but also to explore wider opportunities available.
